Right Activist Slams Fayose Over PMB’s Health Claims

A Pro-Buhari and Civil Rights Activist, Osuagwu Ugochukwu has slammed Governor Ayo Fayose of Ekiti State over his recent statement on the health status of President Muhammadu Buhari

Ugochukwu dismissed claims by Fayose, who is the Chairman of Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP) Governors’ Forum, that President Buhari is on life support at the West End Hospital, London, describing it as not only misleading but also a figment of the Governor’s imagination.

According to the Activist, Fayose has no facts about the President because “for the records, there is nothing like West End Hospital in London. This alone shows that Fayose must have been misled by the so-called insiders feeding him with information about our President in London.”

Ugochukwu, an avowed supporter of Mr President, said rather than giving the Presidency 48 hours to debunk his “fairy tales, it is rather the other way round for Governor Fayose to provide evidence of what he is alleging as what he has claimed to be West End Hospital does not exist.”

“Governor Fayose should rather stop all these puerile attempts at ridiculing the president simply because he went for medical vacation,” he said.

According to him, it is important for Nigerians to ignore what he called the Ekiti governor’s penchant for jabbering, noting that, “the same Fayose had in February 2015 alleged that Buhari was admitted in a London hospital and not billed to attend any Chatham House Lecture. This turned out to be false. The same Fayose had quoted the Hospital address, then in 2015, to be located at Cavendish Street, Cavendish Square, W2 London West End, London.”

Fayose had in a press release on Wednesday alleged that the Eid-el-Fitr audio message of ‘President Buhari does not represent the truth as the President does not only have voice impairment, he has been on life support since June 6, 2017 at a West-End, London Hospital.’
