Suicide Bomber Kills 7 Worshippers in Konduga Mosque – NEMA

BY GLORIA USMAN, ABUJA – The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), on Monday announced that at least seven worshippers were killed in a mosque in the Ajari area of Konduga, Borno state when a suicide bomber detonated his explosives. 
The Zonal Coordinator of NEMA in the North East, Bashir Garga, who confirmed the casualty in a terse statement said a male suicide bomber detonated an IEDs in Konduga during early morning prayers on Monday in a mosque around Ajari in Konduga Local Government Area of Borno State. 

Garga also said that seven others sustained various degrees of injuries, adding that the injured were evacuated to Maiduguri for proper medical attention by emergency response and security officials.

NEMA however said that the area is now calm and placid.
