For The Third Time, Buhari Absent At FEC Meeting
For three weeks running, President Muhammadu Buhari on Wednesday did not show up at the Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting that took place at the Council Chamber of the Aso Villa in Abuja.
The meeting was chaired by Vice President Yemi Osinbajo.
The health status of the President has been a subject of media speculations, prompting the First lady, Mrs Aisha Buhari, on Monday to allay fears of Nigerians through her twitter account that there was no cause for fear over the president’s health.
Officials had confirmed Mrs Buhari’s twitter message that the President had met privately for several hours with the Group Managing Director of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) and the Attorney General of the Federation and Minster of Justice.
With the absence of Buhari at the FEC Meeting today, according to a source, the speculation over the health status of Buhari may yet take another dimension.
