Thugs Attack Residence Of Atiku’s Coordinator In Rivers State, Sen. Maeba

The political atmosphere in Port Harcourt, the Rivers State capital was on Thursday heated up as suspected thugs invaded the country home of the State Coordinator of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Presidential Campaign Council, Senator Lee Maeba.

The attack on the residence of Senator Maeba, an ardent supporter of the PDP Presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, was said to have taken place few hours to his hosting of a stakeholders meeting.

It was gathered that the thugs numbering over 30 gained access to the premises by jumping through the fence and later broke the padlock of the gate to enable more of them gained entrance into the property.

As the thugs gained entrance into the premises, the security guard at the gate took to his heels and escaped during the attack.

The thugs during the attack, succeeded in destroying some of the vehicles parked in the premises.
