Tinubu-led Govt. Run By Khakistocrats And Kleptomaniacs – Senator Ndume Says
Senator Ali Ndume (APC Borno South), who is the Chief Whip of the Senate, has declared that the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu-led government is being run by kakistocrats and kleptocrats.
He also said that Tinubu government is being run by the worst of officials thereby making the immediate past administration of Muhammadu Buhari shine forth as very decent and good.
Senator Ndume, who stated these when he featured on Arise Television on Thursday evening, said that the government was being run by plutocrats, stressing that the dictionary describes Kakistocracy as a government run by the worst, least qualified citizens.
He noted that President Tinubu had been totally kept and shielded away from issues in the country by some of his aides that are desirous of ensuring that people including his minister do not have access to him thus the need for somebody to speak out to save the country.
In the words of Ndume; “I believe that Tinubu is not in the real picture of what is happening.
“Besides shielding Mr President they (aides) also give him the picture that everything is okay,”
“Somebody has to do this. Nigeria has been dragged into the league of the world’s hungry nations. We have a big challenge and that is the place of hunger and food scarcity. It is not only that inflation has gotten up to 40 per cent, it has gotten to the point that even with your money, you cannot find the food to buy.
“This is a very serious and scary situation because if those in power do not allow the president to know, it is like we are here and the cloud is gathering and that is scaring,” he said.
Ndume also said that some of his top position that include, the Senate’s number three man has not been able to meet with the President.
According to Ndume; “Obasanjo for example as president, during his time, any senator that wanted to see him could see him within 24 hours.
Ndume stressed that the developments have made the much flayed former administration of Muhammadu Buhari to look very decent in the eyes of the people.
