Trailer Kills Man, Wife, 4yrs Daughter in Enugu

Rains of uncontrollable tears flooded the Amaetiti Oji-River community in Oji-River council area of Enugu as a family of three were confirmed dead after a trailer knocked them down on their way home from a Sunday church service.
Paul Uzor, his wife, Ogochukwu, and daughter, Kamsi met their untimely death when a 911 Mercedes Benz Lorry, with registration number AA 40 BRR, came from behind to crush the family that was riding on late Uzor’s motorcycle.
According an eyewitness, who gave his name as Kenneth Aja, the victims were immediately rushed to Oji-River general hospital where the doctor on duty confirmed them death.
Also, confirming the incident, the Enugu state police command, through its Public Relations Officer, Superintendent of police, Ebere Amaraizu, told Forefront on phone, that the incident was heart-breaking and the lorry driver is currently in police custody.
He said the three corpses have been deposited at the Oji River General Hospital mortuary for necessary action by the family members.
