UEFA Champions League Q-Finals: It’s City Vs Liverpool, Real Vs Juventus

A replay of last year’s final between holders Real Madrid and Italian giants, Juventus as well as Premiership showdown involving runner-away League leaders, Manchester City and Liverpool are signposting the UEFA Champions League quarter-finals pairings for the 2017/18 edition.

In the last eight draws held on Friday, March 16, 2018 in Nyon, Switzerland, La Liga leaders, FC Barcelona will play Roma of Italy, with Sevilla FC of Spaind, who dusted Manchester United having a date against Bundesliga champions, Bayern Munich.

Manchester City secured their place in the last eight with a comprehensive 5-2 bashing of FC Basel, though losing the second leg 2-1 at home after 4-0 away leg victory. For Liverpool, the Reds saw off FC Porto in the round of 16 with an impressive 5-0 away performance at the Estadio do Dragao though the return leg at Anfield ended on a goalless note.

In the quarter-finals round, Liverpool will host the first leg tie at Anfield on Wednesday, April 4, with the second leg slated for Tuesday, April 10, 2018 at the Etihad Stadium.
