Violent Protest: Gov Yusuf Declares 24-hrs Curfew In Kano

Following the violence that erupted in the wake of the nationwide protest against #Endbadgovernance and hunger, in Kano State, Governor Abba Yusuf has declared a 24-hours curfew in the state with immediate effect.

Governor Yusuf, who announced the decision of the State Government while addressing journalists at the Government House, Kano, said the action became imperative to ensure the full protection of lives and properties in the state.

He noted that hoodlums and thugs have hijacked the protest by embarking destruction, looting and indiscriminate killing of innocent citizens.
