Senator Bala Ibn Na’Allah has said that he resolved to withdraw from the All Progressives Congress (APC) Kebbi South senatorial primary owing to what he described as “instruction from above”.
Na’Allah said that information at his disposal clearly indicated that there were clear instructions given regarding the conduct of the primaries which clearly breached the established process.
He said that his participation in such primaries will greatly impede his commitment to the development of the nation and the people.
Na’Allah said it was with pain that he had to convey his withdrawal from the scheduled primaries of the All Progressive Congress for the Kebbi South Senatorial District, stressing that the withdrawal became necessary in view of the credible information he received that clearly suggests the mind of the party arising from the instructions received from “Above”.
In the words of Na’Allah; “I have taken into account that I have spent the last fourteen years building the party at the state and federal level as a founding member of the party.
“I must equally state that I entered the race on the invitation of my constituents who out of their volition contributed money to purchase membership form for me and I will remain grateful to them for life.
“I am equally aware that instructions have been given regarding the conduct of the primaries which clearly breached the established process. My participation in the said primaries will greatly impede my commitment to the development of our nation and our people,” he said.
