Why We Re-schedule 2023 Common Entrance Exams – NECO

BY TEMI OHAKWE, ABUJA – The National Examinations Council (NECO), has announced the rescheduling of the 2023 National Common Entrance Examinations (NCEE), from April 29, to Saturday, June 3, 2023.

The Examination body explained that it had to reschedule the date for the examination owing to the low registration of candidates by some states.

The NCEE examination is a basic admission requirement conducted for pupils of primary schools into Federal Unity Colleges in the country. .

These were contained in a statement by the Head, Information & Public Relations Affairs of NECO, Azeez Sanni in which he explained that the postponement of the examination date was to give States with low registration of candidates the opportunity to register their candidates for the examination.

The Council therefore called on prospective candidates, parents, guardians, schools and relevant stakeholders to take note of the new date for the examination.

The Examination body said that the registration of candidates will continue till the new date of the examination.
