2019: Don’t Re-elect Reps who Kept Mute In The Face Of Injustice – Bagobiri
BY AMOS TAUNA, KADUNA – The Catholic Bishop of Kafanchan, Rev. Dr. Joseph Danlami Bagobiri, has frowned at the position of the Southern Kaduna representatives who kept mute on the injustices foisted on the innocent people of the area by the state government headed by Governor Nasir Ahmad el-Rufai.
He observed that those who kept silent should not be supported to go back to their political positions in 2019.
Speaking at the Southern Kaduna People’s Union Youth wing meeting with a theme, “Revisiting the Political Participation of Southern Kaduna: The role of the Youths under the Chairmanship of Justice Makeri, first President Kaduna State Customary Court of Appeal maintained that”, he noted that, “It is a payback time for those members of the Kaduna State House of assembly who kept mum over the injustices been unleash on their people.
“They have been there and seeing what governor el-Rufai is doing, is only the religious leaders that are doing the talking, but these politicians are saying nothing, they should never be supported again.
“Let Southern Kaduna surveyors take a critical look at Kaduna North and Kaduna South, in actual sense it is what we call Kaduna east and Kaduna west in Geography.
“Take a look at the map, this is the injustice that has been done that Kaduna east is been describe as Kaduna South with Tudun Wada in it, and Kaduna west is been describe as Kaduna North and this is why this unjust must not continue and there can be no hope for you to win any election as long as this agenda continue.
“Our agenda must aim toward addressing this issue, if we don’t address it, we have not addressed anything at all.”
