The Kano State House of Assembly has confirmed the appointment of Mustapha Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso as a member of the state executive council by asking him to take a bow and go.
Mustapha is the first son of former Governor Kwankwaso and Leader of the Kwankwasiyya Movement Leader, Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, who was also the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) presidential candidate in the 2023 general election. According to the member representing Doguwa State Constituency in the House, Alhaji Salisu Ibrahim Riruwai, the Assembly confirmed the nominees’ appointment because it was satisfied with their curriculum vitae, assuring that they would contribute immensely to the development of Kano State.
The House Majority leader, Lawal Hussaini Dala, who spoke shortly after the nominees were screened, explained that Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf Governor had last week forwarded to the Assembly for legislative screening and approval the four nominees, Adamu Aliyu Kibiya, Abduljabbar Umar Garko, Shehu Usman Aliyu, and Mustapha Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso.
