While pleading guilty to a four-count charge of Naira abuse brought against him by the anti-graft agency, when he was first arraigned on April 5, Bobrisky had in his passionate appeal to the court claimed not being aware of the law on abusing the Naira, adding that he is a social media influencer with over five million followers and should be given another chance to use his platform to inform and educate his followers about spraying money.

The judge, Justice Abimbola Awogboro who convicted him after the review of the facts of the case declared that ignorance of the law was not an excuse, and reserved judgment till April 9, 2024

In his plea, the crossdresser said; “I know, My Lord. My Lord, I wish you could give me a second chance to use my platform to inform and educate my followers about spraying money. I would do a video on my page and will educate people about spraying money. I will not repeat it. I regret my actions”.
