COVID-19 Second Wave: Lagos Workers Get Stay Home Order

Determined to control the second wave of COVID-19 pandemic outbreak in the State, Lagos Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has extended its stay-at- home order for the State Public Servants on Grade Levels 14 and below to Monday, January 18, 2021.

However, the Head of Service, Mr Hakeem Muri-Okunola said the order excludes workers on essential duty as well as First Responders.

He said in a statement that all public servants are urged to stay safe and ensure continued compliance with all COVID-19 protocols in order to make Lagos State free of the deadly virus.

The Head of Service also used the opportunity to call on all government workers to join the virtual Y2021 First Work Day Prayer for all Public Servants in the State via Zoom platform with Meeting ID: 857 4418 2571; Password: 100200 from 7.45a.m on Monday, January 4, 2021.

Muri-Okunola, who explained that the service is holding online due to COVID-19, wished all staff a prosperous and fulfilling New Year 2021.
