Dangote Refinery Further Reduces Petrol Price To N835 Per Litre

Within one week, Dangote Petroleum Refinery has again announced further reduction in the price of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), popularly known as petrol.

The new price as announced on Wednesday, April 16, 2025, is set at N835 per litre as against the N865 per litre it announced last week Friday.

The reduction showed a decrease of 3.5 per cent.

The price adjustment followed the recent decline in global crude oil prices which dropped to $64 per barrel from over $70 per barrel in recent weeks.

The refinery had earlier reduced its pump price from N880 to N865 per litre.

In spite of the reduction in petrol pump price by Dangote, oil marketers have refused to pass on the savings in reduction to consumers as most petrol filling stations are still selling at N965 per liter.
