A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Senator Ifeanyi Araraume, has expressed special appreciation to Nigerian Muslims for their contributions to the country’s growth and development, citing their faith, resilience, and patriotism as beacons of hope.
Araraume, who expressed the appreciation while extending warm felicitations to Muslims in Nigeria and globally on the joyous occasion of Eid-el-Fitr, acknowledged the significance of Eid-el-Fitr, marking the end of Ramadan, a period of spiritual reflection, fasting, and devotion.
In a statement, Araraume said he joined in the cheer to wish everyone a blessed and peaceful Eid as Muslims gather with loved ones to share in the festivities.
Araraume further said; “Your unwavering commitment to Nigeria’s progress is truly commendable. Let us embrace the spirit of Eid-el-Fitr – forgiveness, generosity, and kindness – to build a brighter future for ourselves and generations to come.
He particularly called for unity, understanding, and collective efforts to drive progress as Nigeria navigates its challenges.
The former lawmaker also took the opportunity to express solidarity with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, who he described as “a distinguished Muslim leader” and APC stalwart, commending his vision, leadership, and commitment to nation-building.
Araruame said; “President Tinubu’s dedication to serving Nigeria has been exemplary, and we assure him of our continued support”.
Reiterating the APC’s commitment to building a Nigeria where every citizen thrives, Araraume emphasised that Eid-el-Fitr values of compassion, unity, and progress resonate deeply with the party’s ethos.
“As we mark this occasion, we reaffirm our dedication to creating a nation where faith and background are not barriers to success,” he stated.
