Enters New NEXIM Bank Team
– New Managing Director of Nigeria Export-Import Bank (NEXIM), Mr Abubakar Bello on Tuesday ceremonially took over the reins of leadership from Bashir M. Wali, who held fort in acting capacity until Thursday, April 20, 2017 when the presidency announced the new management team.
Head, Corporate Communication Department, NEXIM Bank, Chinedu Moghalu said the handover ceremony was a mere formality as the new team headed by Mr. Bello had already resumed at the Bank since April 21.
Appointed alongside Abubakar Bello as the Chief Executive are Dr Bala Mohammed Bello as the Executive Director, Corporate Services and Stella Okotete as Executive Director, Business Development.
The new team’s appointments by President Muhammadu Buhari was announced and communicated to the Bank by the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF) on Thursday, April 20, 2017.
