Female Banker Hacks Her 2 Kids To Death

By AWESOME EKENE, AWKA – Anambra State Police Command has arrested a middle-aged woman for allegedly killing her two children in Omagba, Phase 2 in Onitsha, Anambra State.

The suspect (names withheld) was said to have locked up her two-year old daughter and a four-month old son in her apartment, where she was alleged to have clubbed them to death with a hammer.

It was reliably gathered that the husband to the suspect was on a business trip when the incident happened.

A neighbor, who spoke on condition of anonymity, however, said the kids were already dead before they could force the door open.

When our correspondent visited the area of the incident, the suspect’s husband, who had rushed back on the instance of the ugly development, could not speak to the press.

“He can’t talk to anybody now. As you can see, he is having a family meeting over the issue” one of the family members said.

It was further learnt that the case has been transferred from Inland Town police station Onitsha to State CID, Awka.

Efforts to reach the state Police Public Relations Officer, Mrs Nkiru Nwode, proved abortive, as she did not respond to phone calls put across to her.
