FG Launches Citizens Engagement App For Quality Service

BY EVELYN DADU, ABUJA – The National Orientation Agency (NOA) has launched a mobile application known as ‘CLHEEAN’ aimed at enhancing citizens engagement with governance for quality service delivery

While making a public presentation of the CLHEEAN mobile application in Abuja, the director general of the NOA, Mallam Lanre Issa-Onilu said the even is far more than a launch as it a commitment, a bridge, movement towards a Nigeria where every voice matters.

Issa-Onilu said the application which is an AI powered voice with multi lingual capabilities, can speak various Nigerian languages, Yoruba, Hausa and Igbo inclusive.

He also said that the app has crawling abilities and crawls within the ministries, departments and agencies of government in Nigeria.

Issa-Onilu further said; “It has been tested for over one year before this launch. Nigerians can trust the app for all the information they may require at any time.

“Because governance works best when citizens are heard, when government listens action follows. With this initiative, we are laying the foundation for a more informed citizenry; a more responsive government and a more united nation,” he said.

Features of the CLHEEAN mobile application include; ‘Civic Education, Feedback and reporting, Power, Community Forum, Submit Idea, Real-Time Information & entertainment, announcements and contents that connects citizens to governance in real time’.

The NOA DG called on Nigerians to take advantage of the new mobile application to get all needed knowledge and information in order to engage government constructively for better participation and quality service delivery.
