Kaduna Police Parades 56 Armed Robbery, kidnapping Suspects
BY AMOS TAUNA, KADUNA – The Kaduna State Police Command on Wednesday paraded scores of criminal suspects, alleged to have been terrorising Kaduna residents over a period of time.
The Police further said that the suspects, mostly youths between ages 15 and 23 years, were arrested while carrying out their nefarious activities along the Kaduna-Abuja, Kaduna-Zaria and Kaduna-Birnin Gwari highways.
In all, 56 suspects were paraded before newsmen by the Police Commissioner Mr. Agyole, who said within the last two weeks, fight against crime and criminality has paid off with the arrest of several criminal suspects.
He said such crimes include armed robbery, illegal possession of firearms, rape, Sara-Suka, kidnapping, cattle rustling, and counterfeit US dollars printing among others.
