Kwankwaso Will Rescue Nigeria From Present Quagmire – SMN
BY SYLVESTER ALIJO, ABUJA – A political group known as the Southern Mandate of Nigeria (SMN), has said given the turbulent times Nigeria has found itself, a new leadership that would bring back smiles to the faces of Nigerians has become desirable.
The SMN noted that life has become unbearable for most Nigerians, a development that points to the direction that only a tested achiever like Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso can rescue the nation in both the economic and political spheres.
A statement by the National Coordinator of the SMN, Comrade Ikonomwan Francis said that it is clear from the body language of Nigerians that there is a strong trust on Kwankwaso to reposition the country.
Ikonomwan therefore urged Kwankwaso to use the present window and opportunity to build his structure to a level of political mass movement to move like a hurricane.
According to him; “Senator Kwankwaso has advantageously become a household name in the country backed up by his numerous achievements when he was Governor of Kano State. There is an undeniable quality that cannot be taken away from him as currently the most sellable Presidential material for 2019
“Senator Kwankwaso’s legislative and executive experiences put him first in the line for a new government come 2019. His creditability and integrity is a veritable instrument needed to build a Nigeria of our dreams.
“The collective acceptance of such a leader in the spirit of fairness and equity, becomes paramount and it is our firm believe that Kwankwaso will ratify most of the ills of the present administration and will put food once again on the table of Nigerians.”
The SMN also said that Nigerians are hungry and thirsty for a paradigm shift with a firm believe that Senator Kwankwaso’s credentials meet their expectations.
He further said; “We want a change, but not just a change, we want a change from the old order of corruption, insensitivity to the people’s feelings, rule of law, arbitrariness and others.
“Furthermore, as an astute politician, who was well mentored by the late Aminu Kano, he is very dogged and has the capacity to strengthen our great Party, the All Progressives Congress APC).
