Let Tinubu Know The True State of Things In Nigeria – Kayode Fayemi Tells Ganduje
Former governor of Ekiti State, Dr. Kayode Fayemi, has tasked the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr. Umar Ganduje, to tell the president, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu about the true state of things in the country and the status of Nigerians.
Fayemi also urged Ganduje to as a matter of necessity provide Tinubu with input from the communities so that the president does not rely on what he hears in the Villa where he is locked up.
Fayemi, who stated these at a book presentation on Tuesday for ‘APC & Transition Politics,’ written by former National Vice Chairman, North West zone of the APC, Mr Salihu Lukman, charged the APC to fulfill its manifesto and not to be a spectator in policy making.
He particularly lamented that praise singers have made it difficult for those at the Presidential Villa to know the true feelings of Nigerians.
In his words; “This party should be the one to tell Mr. President that this is the feedback from the communities and constituencies out there, not what he is hearing in the Villa where he is locked up.
“I am happy that our chairman is here. This is the party that should not be a spectator in policy making. This party should be the one to project the manifesto of the party,” he said.
