NCDC MD Celebrates Senator Lalong On His Birthday

The Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the North Central Development Commission (NCDC), Dr. Cyril Yiltsen Tsenyil, has extended warm felicitations to his Senator Simon Bako Lalong on the occasion of his birthday.

Tsenyil particularly noted that Lalong has, over the years, demonstrated exceptional leadership and commitment to the growth and unity of not only Plateau State but Nigeria at large.

A statement by the Media and Corporate Communications department of the NCDC stated that while congratulating Senator Lalong representing Plateau South Senatorial District and former Governor of Plateau State, Tsenyil described him as an epitome of humility, service, and outstanding achievement.

In particular, Tsenyil described Lalong as his mentor and leader, saying that he recognised the pivotal role played by the former Plateau Governor alongside his colleagues, in the establishment of the North Central Development Commission.

The MD of NCDC also described the Commission as a critical intervention platform aimed at driving sustainable development in the North Central zone and addressing pressing humanitarian challenges.

Tsenyil acknowledged that Lalong has mentored countless individuals, nurturing and guiding them into positions of influence across the country and beyond, thus commended his enduring legacy of empowering others and building a new generation of leaders grounded in integrity and public service.

Recalling his time working with Senator Lalong during his tenure as Governor of Plateau State, Tsenyil expressed deep appreciation for the opportunity to learn under his leadership, stressing that his mentorship was instrumental in shaping his approach to governance and service.

The NCDC Chief Executive officer further commended Lalong for his continued dedication to national development through his various roles in public service and prays for good health, wisdom, and many more years of impactful leadership.
