Osinbajo Hails Tinubu As Visionary Leader @68

BY EDMOND ODOK, ABUJA – Nigeria’s Vice President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo (SAN) says former Lagos State governor and National Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, is a visionary leader who has inspired millions of people since his emergence on the nation’s political scene

According to him, the APC leader’s political career has not only inspired millions of people but also given birth to many proteges making outstanding mark in different areas of life.

In a personally signed message to celebrate Asiwaju Tinubu on his 68th birthday anniversary, Prof Osinbajo said his vision had produced many leaders from the large followers and proteges over the years.

“Today, we celebrate Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, a visionary, transformative leader and patriot. Your exceptional political career and service has inspired millions. It is true that few leaders have developed as many leaders from the ranks of their protégés as you have done.

“Your incredibly large and generous heart, political astuteness and uncommon intellect have become the stuff of legend.”

The Vice President however lamented that the current global emergency situation due to COVID-19 pandemic has made it impossible to observe the yearly solution Bola Tinubu Colloquium, which continued to address issues relating to Nigeria’s many leadership challenges in the last couple of years.

“Today, but for COVID-19, we would, as we have done in the past twelve years, celebrated this day with the Bola Tinubu Colloquium, where we do what is your greatest passion – proffering answers to developmental questions. We will by God’s grace, still do this and many more.

“I pray for you sir, that as your days, so shall your strength, wisdom and favour be with God, in Jesus name,” Prof Osinbajo said.
