Paramount Ruler Of Bachama Kingdom, Adamawa State, HRH Stephen Is Dead
The 28th paramount Ruler of Bachama kingdom in Adamawa State, the Hama Bachama, His Royal Highness Honest Stephen, is dead. Died at the age of 66years.
The death of the monarch was announced in Numan, the by the Nzobyalata Hama Bachama, who is the official spokesman of Bachama kingdom, Chief Timawus Mathias in Numan.
Mathias said that the monarch passed on to his ancestors in the early hours of Sunday in his palace in Numan, Adamawa State.
According to the Nzobyalt Hama Bachama; “Our paramount ruler died following a brief illness. Already the funeral rights are well underway according to Bachama tradition in Lamurde, the Kingdom’s headquarters”
Mathias said that the late Monarch received his staff of office on December 15, 2013, from former governor, Murtala Nyako.
Born on March 6, 1954, the late Stephen served as a military officer with the Nigerian Army and later ascended the throne in 2012.
