PDP National Chairman Appoints Dingyadi As Media Aide
The National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Dr Iyorchia Ayu has approved the appointment of Yusuf Abubakar Dingyadi as his Senior Special Assistant (SSA) on Media and Communication.
Dingyadi’s appointment which took effect from July 1, 2022, was contained in a letter dated July 26, 2022, and assigned by the National Secretary of the Party, Senator Samuel N Anyanwu.
Dingyadi, a seasoned Journalist has worked in different capacities in the media spanning over two decades before venturing into politics.
He served under Late Shehu Musa Yar’Adua’s media team of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), media aide to Late Abubakar Koko (Sarkin Yakin Gwandu), former Governor Attahiru Bafarawa and Governor Aminu Tambuwal respectively.
Dingyadi, who is a member of PDP Northern Caucus of Media Professionals, Youths Forum, was an employee of many news outlets including the BBC Hausa, correspondent of defunct Reporter/Nasiha Newspapers among others.
In the political space, Yusuf Dingyadi served as a Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the Sokoto state chapter of the PDP, Secretary Caretaker of Kebbi State chapter of the PDP and different Ad-hoc committees of the party at both local and national levels.
Dingyadi, who is married with children, has traveled widely across the globe to improve his social and professional capacity.
