Following the brutal murder of Jennifer Anthony, a 300 female student of the University of Jos in a hotel room in Jos, the Plateau State Police Command has arrested and paraded a 20-year old identified as Moses Okon.

The Late Jennifer Anthony was allegedly lured to a hotel by the Moses believed to be her boyfriend, after which he allegedly drugged her before murdering and dismembering parts of her body for ritual purposes.

The arrested Moses Okon was until his arrest, also a student in the Department of Zoology of the University of Jos.

The alleged killer is said to have used various instruments to remove the Late Jennifer Anthony’s eyes and other vital parts of her body before he bolted away from the hotel.

The Commissioner of Police for Plateau State, CP Bartholomew Onyeka told journalists shortly after parading Moses Okon said that the lifeless body of Jennifer that was mutilated by Moses was found on New Year Day at Domus Pacis Guest House, Jos.

CP Onyeka said Moses Okon, after carrying out the dastardly act ran away from Jos but was later arrested in Benue State.

Onyeka further said; “The man aged 20 years, suspected to be her boyfriend, fled after committing the crime. The Command in a bid to arrest the perpetrator launched an aggressive manhunt on the suspect and tactically trailed him to Benue State where he was arrested by hawked-eye police operatives of the Command”.

The police boss said the suspect will be arraigned in court as soon as investigation into the matter is completed.

He appealed to members of the public with more useful information on how the incident took place to avail the police with the information.
