Suicide-Bombers Killed At Unimaid Female Hostel
Three male suicide-bombers were on Thursday night killed while attempting to attack a female hostel at the University of Maiduguri in Borno State.
Reports said that one of the three suicide-bombers carried an AK 47, while at least two bombs exploded during the almost mid-night attack.
According to a student leader in the university, Comrade Abu Hanifa, who confirmed the incident, one of the explosions occurred around BOT Hostel that houses the female students.
Haifa also said that another explosion occurred around the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine within the university.
Speaking on the casualties, an emergency worker involved in the evacuation said that: “Four security men in the university, including volunteers were treated for injuries they sustained as no life was lost, except the suicide bombers that were killed.
Forefront gathered that corpses of the suicide bombers were evacuated by workers from NEMA and Borno State Emergency Management Agency (BOSEMA).
