UEFA Champions League Q-Final Draw: It’s Liverpool Vs Real Madrid
All the pairings
Manchester City (ENG) Vs Borussia Dortmund (GER)
Porto (POR) Vs Chelsea (ENG)
Bayern München (GER) Vs Paris Saint-Germain (FRA)
Real Madrid (ESP) Vs Liverpool (ENG)

Reigning Premiership champions, Liverpool have been paired with Spanish Real Madrid in the quarter-finals of this year’s UEFA Champions League, just as runaway league leaders, Manchester City are set to do battle against German opponents, Borussia Dortmund.
Similarly, rejuvenated Chelsea are primed to navigate a route past surprise package FC Porto of Portugal while the final pairing throws up a re-match between 2020 finalists, Cup holders, Bayern Munich of Germany and French big boys, Paris Saint-Germain (PSG)
Though all contests at this stage of elite European competition are mouth-watering, the last-eight pairings have thrown up some intriguing tussles.
Between Liverpool and Real Madrid, they have plenty of history, with the Blancos emerging victorious against the Reds in 2018 final when they conquered the continent for an unprecedented 13th time. Both sides are expected to produce more fireworks when they lock horns.
For Manchester City, who remain in the hunt for a historic quadruple this season, Pep Guardiola’s efforts to deliver a first Champions League crown to the Etihad Stadium will be dauntingly tested by an exciting Borussia Dortmund side that parade the impressive duo of Erling Haaland and Jadon Sancho.
On their part, Porto, who prevailed as underdogs under Jose Mourinho 17 years ago, stunned Cristiano Ronaldo and Juventus in their last-16 confrontation. But they now face an uphill task against a Chelsea side that is yet to suffer defeat under the managerial dexterity of German-born Thomas Tuchel.
Bayern Munich retain their grip on the most prestigious of prizes for now, but they were pushed all the way by PSG in last season’s showpiece and will need no reminding of the considerable threat posed to them by the likes of Neymar and Kylian Mbappe.
