2019 Polls: Oshiomhole, APC Chairmen, Flag-bearers See Victory Ahead

BY EDMOND ODOK, ABUJA – The All Progressives Congress (APC) on Sunday dug deep with strategic plans for electoral victory by its party apparatus ahead of the February 16 presidential and national assembly elections.

National Chairman, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole said having worked hard for Nigerians and Nigeria in the last three years; APC is now good to go for a deserved victory at the polls.

Rising from a joint meeting by the party’s National Working Committee (NWC) with the state chairmen, secretaries and governorship candidates held at the APC National Secretariat in Abuja, Oshiomhole said the APC will win the general elections in a free, fair, transparent and credible manner unlike the past PDP administrations which stole the people’s mandate in the past by manipulating the electoral process and state institutions.

Comrade Oshiomhole, who accused Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) of dishing out daily falsehood as direct fallout of its infamous Dubai strategic meeting, said the APC’s special meeting was packaged to review and deliberate on the Party’s preparation and general issues concerning general elections holding on February 16 and March 2, 2019.

He said the state executives as represented by their respective chairmen and secretaries present and remained an important grassroots base that will work and ensure APC’s victory in the presidential, governorship, National and State Houses of Assembly polls.

According to the National Chairman, huge turnout of party supporters at the various presidential campaign rallies across the country demonstrates Nigerians’ love and faith in the APC‘s administration to take the country to the ‘Next Level’

He therefore urged the State executives and party organs at all levels to work passionately and cordially with the party’s governors and stakeholders in their respective states for the election of its candidates.

Comrade Oshiomhole, who warned against complacency by APC members, said the party’s victory in the coming elections is assured given the electorate’s continued support and President Muhammadu Buhari administration’s unprecedented achievements in the last four years.

The APC Chairman therefore charged party leaders and members to remain focused and refused distraction by what he described as the opposition PDP’s daily deceit and propaganda.
