Again, Nigeria Drops in FIFA’s Rankings
Following a string of poor results ahead of the 2018 World Cup in Russia, Nigeria’s Super Eagles have dropped a place from their last month’s positioning in the latest FIFA rankings.

Interestingly, Nigeria’s Group D opponents at the Mundial, Argentina, Croatia and Iceland are placed on fifth, 20th and 22nd respectively on the FIFA ranking.
In the continent, Tunisia, as the continent’s top ranked side, witnessed a sharp drop from its former 14th place to 21st in the latest ranking with Senegal following in 27th place.
