It was excitement galore for Chelsea legend, Didier Drogba and African music star, Peter Okoye, popularly called Mr P, as both joined the Blues’ faithful across the world in celebration of their progress to this season’s UEFA Champions League final.

Against all odds, the Thomas Tuchel’s men confirmed their place in history after claiming a vital win at Stamford Bridge by defeating Real Madrid 2-0 on Wednesday to reach the European competition final.

Thanks to goals from Timo Werner and Mason Mount, the English side advanced 3-1 on aggregate over the Spanish giants. The victory offers Chelsea a chance to win their second Champions League crown following their maiden triumph in Munich way back in 2012.

An obviously thrilled Drogba, who led the Blues to the top of European club football eight years ago, elaborately celebrated Tuchel’s men while also sharing his feelings with the women’s team set to play in the UEFA Women’s Champions League final against Barcelona.

On his part, Mr. P could not keep calm as he rolled on the floor to rejoice over the crucial result against Zinedine Zidane’s side. Mr P was a member of the defunct music duo, P-Square and they won several group awards including the MTV Africa Music Awards, the Headies, and Nigerian Music Awards among others.

Below is how the two stars expressed their emotional attachment to the Chelsea triumph.
