The protest is aimed at sending a signal to the Federal Government to as a matter of national importance, tame the unabated killings of Christians particularly in the North and other parts of the country.

Pastor Adeboye and the protesters kick started the protest at about 11am shortly after the church service at RCCG’s National Headquarters in Ebute Metta, Lagos State.

The Christian Association of Nigeria had protested the gruesome murder of some Christians by members of the terrorist organisation, Boko Haram that violently beheaded the Chairman of its Minchika Local Government Area of Adamawa State, Late Reverend Lawan Andimi.

CAN accused the Buhari-led government of colluding with Boko Haram in the abduction and killing of Christians in the North East.
