JIBWIS To Buhari: Take Decisive Action On Insecurity In The Country Now
…As Prophet Abidoye calls for intensive prayers for the country
BY ADEYEMI AKANJI, BAUCHI – An Islamic Organisation on the aegis of Jama’atu Izalatil Bid’ah Wa’ikamatis Sunnah (JIBWIS), Bauchi State Chapter called on the Federal Government of Nigeria has been urged to take a decisive action on the spate of insecurity across the country.
JIBWIS also wants the government to take action against persons with “questionable character” whose desire is to see the failure and disintegration of Nigeria.
These were contained in a statement by the Chairman of JIBWIS, Mr Garba Hassan, in which he also called on the government and security agencies to double their efforts in the area of intelligence gatherin.
The religious group also said that the allegations being leveled against the Minister of Communication and Digital Economy, Dr. Isa Ali Pantami were at bringing him down after his giant strides in the Nation’s communications sector which is targeted at the President, Muhammadu Buhari.
It defended Pantami against alleged link to Al-Qaeda, saying that the “pull-him-down war” being waged against the minister is nothing other than pursuit of sheer hatred, grudges and ill-will being nursed against the President Buhari.
JIBWIS also said that the allegations are leveled by both known and hidden enemies of the administration who have, from the word go, never missed any opportunity to express negative, low and mischievous opinion about the government to the extent of openly supporting agitations and attempt to bring the whole system down.
According to JIBWIS; “Basically, the present campaign of calumny, blackmail and hatred against the truly patriotic, performing and responsible Dr. Isa Ali Pantami is actually in furtherance of the agenda hatched long ago to do everything possible to discredit the present administration”.
In the meantime, the Baba Aladuara, Prophet Samuel Adefila Abidoye has said that it is time for Christians as a Church to pray until something positive happens in the chequered history of Nigeria.
Abidoye, who stated this during the 2021 Mount Horeb Ascension program also said that it is time for Nigerians to humble themselves and seek the face of the Lord over lives, families and the Nation in general.
He further said; “It is a period when we need to commit all our leaders in this Country to the hands of the Lord for God’s wisdom and auction to function according to His will for our dear Country”.
The spiritual leader of the Cherubim and Seraphim Movement Worldwide also declared that, “It is a period when we need to re-direct the affairs of our nation prayerfully and just like the 2021 General Theme of our Church ‘ABSOLUTE LIBERATION’, it is a period when we need to ask God to take absolute Control of Nigeria and in the world at large”.
