JUST IN: Boko Haram Blows Up Major Power Grid To Maiduguri

Reports reaching Forefront from Borno State indicate that the dreaded Boko Haram insurgents have succeeded in blowing the High tension line that supplies electricity to Maiduguri, the Borono State capital.

The unfortunate development has reportedly cut off supply of electricity to the State capital and environs thereby throwing the entire town into complete darkness except forthose with generating sets.

It was further gathered that the military have immediately swung into action by stepping in to help restore the link.

Local sources however said that the efforts being put into restoring the light system may not be achieved or accomplished on or before Friday this week.
