- Order 10 that Senator Natasha was echoing at the floor of the House that was seen by the public to be a disrespectful act was aimed to safe the National Assembly and the Senate President by making the Senate President understand that it is an abuse of power by suspending a Senator without referring to order 10 which mandates the Senate President to refer any unruly act to the committee on Ethics and Privileges.
- National Assembly is an organized setting that ought to have notify Senator Natasha via email or mail for change of seat, and reason for the change of seat.
- Akpabio allowed his emotions to trigger his inexperience as a Senate President by not referring Senator Natasha to the committee on Ethics and Privileges thereby making the pronouncement of suspension.
- Finally, Senator Natasha allegedly accused the Senate President of harassment which can be referred to as:
- Changing of her seat without notification.
- Removing her as the chairperson of the Local Content Committee and all these coming to play after the Senate President publicly referred to her speech as “club speech” late last year.
In a civilized and organized society, the senate president ought to have step aside for the integrity of the National Assembly.
