NNPP Loses House Of Reps Candidate Four Days To Election
Tragedy struck the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) family in Kano State on Monday as the party lost its House of Representatives candidate for the Wudil/Garko Constituency, Alhaji Kamilu Ado Isa
Alhaji Isa, a former Assistant Comptroller General of Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), died following a brief illness.
The candidate’s death is coming just four days to the presidential, and National Assembly elections holding on Saturday, February 25, 2023
In a condolence message to the deceased’s family, the NNPP Presidential Standard bearer, Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, described his demise as a huge vacuum that cannot be replaced.
He noted that the candidate dedicated his time, wealth and energy to the success of the party and his immediate community, praying for God Almighty to forgive his shortcomings.
“I am saddened by the loss of Hon. Kamilu Ado Isah, the NNPP House of Representatives Candidate for Wudil/Garko constituency.
“May the Almighty Allah forgive his shortcomings and grant him eternal peace. My condolence to his family, friends and the NNPP Kano Chapter,” the Leader of the Kwankwasiyya Movement said.
Meanwhile, family sources disclosed that the deceased has already been buried according to Islamic rites.
