Supreme Court Affirms Election Of Governor Maknde Of Oyo State
The Supreme Court on Wednesday in a unanimous decision affirmed the election of Governor Oluseyi Makinde as the duly elected Governor of Oyo State.
The decision has finally put to rest the controversy generated by the ruling of the Court of Appeal which made erudite Lawyers and jurists to give different interpretations just as the two contending political parties in the election dispute,namely the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), in Oyo State were laying different claims to the ruling.
