You’re Dependable, Loyal – Buhari Hails Osinbajo @ 64

BY EDMOND ODOK – President Muhammadu Buhari has praised Vice President Yemi Osinbajo as a trusted and capable ally whose reliability and steadfastness are untainted.

According to him, Professor Osinbajo remains “a reliable and dedicated deputy who is not only admirably competent, but also exudes confidence and passion in the performance of his job.”

In a message celebrating the Vice President’s 64th birthday on Monday, March 8, 2021, President Buhari said; “I’m proud to have selected Osinbajo as my running mate and he has given a good account of himself since our journey began in 2015.”

The statement signed by Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Mallam Garba Shehu, quoted President Buhari as saying; “The Vice President is a cool-headed gentleman who puts the interest of Nigeria above other narrow considerations.

“Vice President Osinbajo is an incredibly patient politician who demonstrates remarkable intellectual and mental energy in the discharge of his duties.”

The President therefore wished him many more prosperous years and continued guidance by the Almighty God.
