Governor Yahaya of Gombe State Mourns Late Abba Kyari

BY ADEYEMI AKANJI, in GOMBE – Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya of Gombe State, has expressed grief over the demise of the Chief of Staff to the President, Late Mallam Abba Kyari who died on Friday.

Reacting to the news of the death of Kyari, Governor Yahaya lamented that Nigeria has indeed lost a fine, reliable, dedicated gentleman, a patriot and an administrator, who was always mindful of his duties and responsibilities.

In a statement by his Senior Special Assistant, Media and Publicity, Ismaila Uba Misilli, Governor Yahaya noted that the late Chief of Staff to the President will be remembered for his exemplary leadership, effectiveness in service, dedication and loyalty while carrying out the duties and responsibilities of his office. 

He said; “On behalf of the Government and people of Gombe state, I wish to extend our deepest condolences to Mr President, the family of the deceased as well as the government and people of his home state, Borno over this great loss.”

Yahaya prayed Almighty God to grant the Late Kyari Aljannat Firdaus and give his family and the nation the fortitude to bear the loss.
